Basketball Recap: Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Darbi Hunsberger and Haelyn Morris

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy lost against Ridgeview Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors received a blow as they fell 51-37 to the Ridgeview Christian Crusaders. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy had strong showings from Haelyn Morris, who posted 21 points, and Darbi Hunsberger, who had 12 points.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ridgeview Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgeview Christian, they will head out to challenge Roanoke Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeview Christian is facing Roanoke Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Roanoke Valley Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
