Football Recap: Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles vs. Conrad Chargers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carter, Wilmer-Hutchins was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Conrad Chargers as the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles made off with a 40-16 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
It was another big night for Tamajae McMillon, who threw for 431 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 18.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 42 yards. Jaheim Cummings was McMillon's top target, picking up 134 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Wilmer-Hutchins' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of De'Traviean Leadon and Christopher Wade.
