Basketball Game Preview: Colleton County Cougars vs. Bishop England Battling Bishops

The Colleton County Cougars will square off against the Bishop England Battling Bishops at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bishop England is facing Colleton County at the wrong time: Colleton County suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They received a blow as they fell 64-45 to the Seahawks. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bishop England came up short against Bluffton on Friday and fell 72-59. While losing is never fun, the Battling Bishops can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Bobcats are ranked 47th).

Colleton County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Bishop England, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
