Softball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Academy Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Cornerstone Charter Academy won against Windermere on Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks came out on top against the Osceola Kowboys by a score of 9-4. The win continues a trend for the Ducks in their matchups with the Kowboys: they've now won four in a row.

Kaitlyn Tracy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Liany Rosario, who went 3-for-5 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Jeyleen Rojas Ramos was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Cornerstone Charter Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
