Hayden had won nine straight games dating back to last season and Ella Foster did her part to make it ten on Saturday. The Wildcats came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eudora Cardinals with plenty of help from Foster, who had 13 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Hayden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Eudora, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Hayden has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Wellsville on the 13th. As for Eudora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Perry-Lecompton on the 13th.
