Basketball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler lost against Panhandle back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wheeler Mustangs were dealt a 70-21 defeat at the hands of the Panhandle Panthers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Panhandle, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Quanah the next time they take the court. Panhandle will host Quanah at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Wheeler will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
