Football Recap: Adairsville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Adairsville took on Gilmer on Friday. The Tigers fell 28-21 to the Bobcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Adairsville still got an impressive performance from Braxton Elrod, who rushed for 69 yards and one score, and also threw for 135 yards and a pair of TDs.

Adairsville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Gilmer, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Adairsville will challenge Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilmer, they will square off against Ridgeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
