After each having a week off, the Hollins Royals and the Wesley Chapel Wildcats will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hollins is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

Hollins is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Weeki Wachee two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hollins took a blow against Weeki Wachee, falling 48-12.

Although Hollins took the loss, they still got scores from Bobby Mcaffee and Devlon Parker.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wesley Chapel). They took their match on the road two weeks ago with ease, bagging a 73-0 victory over Anclote. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Tavion Cousin went supernova for Wesley Chapel, rushing for 84 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Another player making a difference was Landen Holley, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

Hollins' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wesley Chapel, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.
