After a string of four wins, Tyrone's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Chestnut Ridge Lions by a score of 7-6.

L Hamer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4. A Walk was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Tyrone's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Chestnut Ridge, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyrone will take on Penn Cambria at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chestnut Ridge, they will face off against Westmont Hilltop at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
