Baseball Recap: Western Albemarle Warriors vs. Spotswood Trailblazers
Western Albemarle unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spotswood Trailblazers on Tuesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trailblazers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Western Albemarle got a good showing from Ryan Schenk, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.
