On Tuesday, Peoples Academy faced Spaulding in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Peoples Academy Wolves received a blow as they fell 54-35 to the Spaulding Crimson Tide. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Peoples Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Spaulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
