Flag Football Game Preview: Webster Schroeder Warriors vs. Batavia Blue Devils

The Webster Schroeder Warriors will challenge the Batavia Blue Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Webster Schroeder has five straight wins, Batavia has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, Webster Schroeder was fully in charge, breezing past Greece Olympia/Greece Odyssey 40-12. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Emma Rascoe was her usual excellent self, throwing for 296 yards and five TDs, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. Isatou Jeng was another key player, picking up 64 receiving yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Batavia fell victim to Webster Thomas and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 25-0 to the Titans. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York flag football rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Titans are ranked eighth).

Batavia's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Webster Schroeder, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
