Windom entered their tilt with Springfield on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While Windom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

Windom's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Springfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's still a better percentage than their 5-18 record this season.
