Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goddard). They strolled past the Arkansas City Bulldogs with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-47. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Goddard's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Arkansas City, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goddard will head out to face off against North on Thursday. Goddard is facing North at the right time seeing as North is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Arkansas City, they will head out on the road to challenge Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
