Football Game Recap: Oceanside Collegiate Academy vs. Burke

Oceanside Collegiate Academy got themselves on the board against Burke on Friday, but Burke never followed suit. Oceanside Collegiate Academy took the contest and then some with a 58-0 win over Burke. With Oceanside Collegiate Academy ahead 35-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Junior Keegan Williams, who rushed for 98 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Oceanside Collegiate Academy's success. One of the most memorable plays of the matchup was Williams's 51-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter. Junior Sean Cooney was in the mix, too, providing Oceanside Collegiate Academy with 3 touchdowns.

The victory bumped Oceanside Collegiate Academy's record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped Burke's record to 2-5.

Next week Oceanside Collegiate Academy take on Philip Simmons at 7:30 PM. As for Burke, they will face off against Timberland.
