Game recap: Frankfort High School Football Team takes down Shelby County

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Frankfort (Ky.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as Jalen Acree ran for a touchdown with with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter, bringing the team to victory over Shelby County (Shelbyville, Ky.) 27-14.

Each side put up 14 points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at six.

Coming into the game the Panthers had allowed 19.2 points per game this year.

The loss comes after Shelby County defeated Ryle 19-13 last week. With the win Frankfort extended its winning streak to three games.
