Baseball Game Preview: Harvey Red Raiders vs. Lutheran West Longhorns

For the second straight game, Harvey will face off against Lutheran West. The Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Longhorns at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvey has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Harvey came up short against Lutheran West and fell 13-8.

For Lutheran West's part, Keniel Laguer was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave Laguer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Omar Biascochea, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Lutheran West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lutheran West and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Harvey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
