After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marshall, Wilson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lincoln Tigers a 10-0 shutout. The Mules might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wilson beat the Tigers by a score of 13-0 on Friday.
