Basketball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

Lake View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 54-29 to the Snyder Tigers. The Chiefs lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-17 score last time.

Lake View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Snyder, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-20.

Lake View and Snyder could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lake View (ranked 1283rd) will meet Estacado (ranked 214th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Snyder (ranked 773rd) will meet Levelland (ranked 99th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
