Volleyball Recap: Lexington Find Success

Lexington's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Schuyler Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Minutemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lexington was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10.

Lexington had a senior duo take command as Aubrey Ackerson had nine digs and Hadlie Wolf had six assists and three aces.

The victory got Lexington back to even at 1-1. As for Schuyler, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Lexington and Schuyler will both be playing Hastings the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Tigers on Saturday, while the Minutemen will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
