Softball Game Preview: Black Hills Wolves vs. Shelton Highclimbers

Black Hills is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Shelton a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Black Hills Wolves will be playing at home against the Shelton Highclimbers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

WF West hit Black Hills with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves lost 12-6 to the Bearcats.

Kailey Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lily Shipe, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Shelton came up short against Centralia on Friday, falling 10-4.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Black Hills, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
