Volleyball Recap: Farmington Phoenix vs. Herriman Mustangs
Farmington and Herriman squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Farmington had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Herriman Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Farmington was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22.
Ellyse Taylor paced Farmington's offense, picking up eight kills. Taylor got some help from

Ava Walton kept Farmington's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Farmington and nudges their season record down to 14-16. As for Herriman, they moved to 12-18 with that victory, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.
