Softball Recap: West Bend East Takes a Loss

West Bend East and Cedarburg pushed the score to 17-4 the last time they played Cedarburg, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Suns fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-4 back in April.

West Bend East dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cedarburg, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

West Bend East has already played their next match, a 13-7 victory against Homestead on the 6th. As for Cedarburg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Slinger on the 6th.
