Recap: Andover Huskies vs. Eden Prairie Eagles
On Saturday, the Andover Huskies faced the Eden Prairie Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Andover was the victim of a tough 76-50 loss at the hands of Eden Prairie. While losing is never fun, Andover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Eden Prairie is ranked second).
Tori Schlagel was on fire for Eden Prairie: she shot 4-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Hardwick, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Eden Prairie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Andover will be playing at home against Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eden Prairie is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Prior Lake at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
