Baseball Recap: South Broward Bulldogs vs. Nova Titans

South Broward extended their postseason success on Thursday against Nova. They had just enough and edged the Nova Titans out 6-5. Winning may never get old, but South Broward sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Shaun Shapiro looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Keniel Marrero, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristian Brennan, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

On Nova's side, Santiago Scheele made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

South Broward has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11-1 record this season. As for Nova, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.

As of now, neither South Broward nor Nova have any future games scheduled.
