Football Recap: Klein Oak Piles Up the Points Against Magnolia West + How To Watch

After only 13 points in their last game, Klein Oak made sure to put some points up on the board against Magnolia West on Friday. The Panthers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-6 win over the Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Klein Oak's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zack Ruysenaars, Bobby Asay, and Somto Okorie, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Magnolia West's side was Ruysenaars, who picked up a sack, made 17 total tackles, and defended one pass.

The victory got Klein Oak back to even at 4-4. As for Magnolia West, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 2-5.
