Volleyball Recap: Mcdonald's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

McDonald came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Western Reserve as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant McDonald was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Sophia Pecchia paced McDonald's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pecchia got some help from Grace Klockner and her 19 assists. Ava Gallo and Halle Kuntz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

McDonald's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Western Reserve, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

McDonald wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Waterloo on the 30th. Western Reserve has also already played their next match (against Lowellville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
