Baseball Game Preview: New Haven Shamrocks vs. Sullivan Eagles

New Haven hasn't had much luck against Sullivan recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Shamrocks will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. New Haven has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

New Haven came up short against Hermann last Thursday, falling 12-5. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sullivan came up short against Pacific on Wednesday and fell 6-3.

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 10-11. As for New Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-5.

New Haven suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Sullivan when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Shamrocks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
