Fairmont Prep came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Anaheim Colonists. The Huskies were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Colonists, so the Huskies were just returning the favor.

While Fairmont Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Fairmont Prep's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Anaheim, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Fairmont Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against San Jacinto Leadership Academy on the 11th. As for Anaheim, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cathedral City on the 11th.
