Carrollton won the last time they faced Greenfield/Northwestern and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks skirted past the Tigers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Carrollton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-11, 29-27.

Tessa Price paced Carrollton's offense, picking up nine kills. Price got some help from Landry Robeen and her 31 assists. Robeen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 25-5-1. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-15-1.
