Volleyball Recap: Foothill Falls Short of Ventura in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Foothill can now relate to. They fell just short of the Ventura Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Foothill took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-15, 20-25, 25-0, 15-11.

Foothill's record is now 27-12. As for Ventura, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ventura, they are taking a road trip to take on La Canada at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
