Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Falcons vs. East Chapel Hill Wildcats

Jordan has gone 8-2 against East Chapel Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Jordan Falcons will welcome the East Chapel Hill Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Jordan will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Jordan was fully in charge, breezing past Riverside-Durham 70-42. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Jordan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rivers Knight, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. Knight is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 17 games he's played. Julian Lowe was another key player, going 6 for 9 to rack up 20 points.

Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Meanwhile, East Chapel Hill played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Hillside, falling 83-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (61), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Jordan's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for East Chapel Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
