Basketball Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss

River Ridge was the 55-52 winner over Lassiter when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The River Ridge Knights fell 63-52 to the Lassiter Trojans on Friday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lassiter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braeden Lucas, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Wright, who posted 11 points.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lassiter, their record is now 12-10.

River Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-58 defeat against Riverwood on the 28th. As for Lassiter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-39 loss against Sprayberry on the 28th.
