 After five games on the road, Valliant is heading back home. They will take on the Wright City Lumberjax at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Valliant will be strutting in after a  victory while Wright City will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Monday, Valliant made easy work of Tishomingo  and carried off  a  10-3 win.
  Clancy Trapp made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Trapp has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Trapp was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Hayzn Harmon and  Brayden Jones did most of the damage at the plate:  Harmon  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3, while  Jones  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Davion Hankins was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  Wright City unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Rattan by a score of  4-3.
 The  victory  got Valliant back to even at 8-8. As for Wright City, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
