The West Bridgewater Wildcats will head out to square off against the Fairhaven Blue Devils at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. West Bridgewater is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

West Bridgewater took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Bourne, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Canalmen 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 30, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Emma Croce, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna LaGrange, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Fairhaven's offense. They came up short against Case on Friday, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

West Bridgewater now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fairhaven, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
