Baseball Recap: Glen Allen Falls Short of Battlefield in the Playoffs

Glen Allen and Battlefield squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Glen Allen had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Glen Allen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Whidbee, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

With the loss, Glen Allen broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9. As for Battlefield, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.
