On Monday, Magnolia Science Academy Reseda came up short against Discovery and fell 3-1. Magnolia Science Academy Reseda has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Magnolia Science Academy Reseda had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lake Balboa College Prep earned a 3-1 win over Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology on Wednesday.

Lake Balboa College Prep was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 21-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season.
