Basketball Recap: Neshaminy Takes a Loss

Neshaminy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cardinal O'Hara Lions. Even though they lost, the Skins' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.2 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Despite the loss, Neshaminy still got an impressive performance from Logan Gale, who went 10 for 23 on his way to 27 points and four steals. Those 27 points gave Gale a new career-high. Max Currie was another key player, going 5 of 6 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Neshaminy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Cardinal O'Hara, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neshaminy will host Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neshaminy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Cardinal O'Hara, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Archbishop Ryan at 7:00 p.m.
