Summer Creek's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against King as Summer Creek made off with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Goose Creek Memorial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over North Shore on Saturday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Mustangs are ranked 425th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Goose Creek Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. Summer Creek's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
