Soccer Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Trenton Trojans, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Taylor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Trenton are ranked 105th).

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Trenton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Taylor will take on rival Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Trenton is set to square off against their familiar foe Lincoln Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
