Baseball Recap: Antietam Takes a Loss

Antietam lost against Wyomissing back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mountaineers came up short against the Spartans, falling 12-2. The Mountaineers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Antietam's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Wyomissing, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antietam will host Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountaineers are facing the Bullets at the right time seeing as the Bullets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Wyomissing, they will be playing at home against Conrad Weiser at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Scouts will have lost eight straight heading into Tuesday's game.
