Volleyball Recap: Tijan Njai and Jordany Rodriguez Secure Win for Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Berwick Bulldogs.

The victory didn't come easy: Berwick scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 28-26.

Wilkes-Barre was led to victory by Jordany Rodriguez and Tijan Njai. Rodriguez had 32 digs and 23 kills, while Njai had 47 assists and 22 digs. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last 16 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Reylie Ramirez, who had 20 kills and ten digs.

Wilkes-Barre's win bumped their record up to 14-10-2. As for Berwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Wilkes-Barre is taking a road trip to take on Delaware Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Berwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
