Auburn got themselves on the board against Benjamin Russell on Saturday, but Benjamin Russell never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Wildcats. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Auburn's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Fitzgerald, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Auburn's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Benjamin Russell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-19.
