Ridgeview had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mountain View Cougars a 10-0 shutout. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Ridgeview pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
