Keaton Jones Delivers Best Effort of Season
Pendleton Heights was led to victory by Keaton Jones, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jones rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.
With the win, Pendleton Heights broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Jones will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Shelbyville on Friday.

Mt. Vernon picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Joliba Brogan II. Brogan II's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.
The victory got Mt. Vernon back to even at 4-4. Brogan II and Mt. Vernon will take on Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cooper Hinton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Greenfield-Central to the win on Friday. Hinton picked up three sacks and made ten total tackles.
If history really does repeat itself, Hinton might just drop another big game when he faces off against New Castle on Friday. When Hinton last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack, made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes.

New Palestine picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Josh Ranes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
New Palestine pushed their record up to 7-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Ranes and New Palestine will welcome Delta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Another Greenfield-Central player making an appearance on this list is Dallas Freeman. He rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
