Greenfield came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Fulton Red Devils a 4-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory two weeks ago.

Greenfield's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave Edwards a new career-high.

Greenfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Fulton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Greenfield has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against Union City on the 30th. South Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
