Basketball Recap: Vega Takes a Loss

Vega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Tulia Hornets, falling 50-24. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 64-51 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2017.

Vega's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Tulia, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vega will challenge Gruver at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tulia, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
