Basketball Recap: Loudoun County HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Loudoun County HomeSchool lost against Frederick W back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Loudoun County HomeSchool Patriots fell just short of the Frederick W Warriors by a score of 39-36. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 134th in Virginia, while the Warriors are ranked 21st in Maryland).

Loudoun County HomeSchool's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Frederick W, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Looking ahead, Loudoun County HomeSchool will take on Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 3:55 p.m. on Thursday. Frederick W will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Riverdale Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
