Wynot's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Archangels Catholic on Friday. The Blue Devils took their match with ease, bagging a 67-6 win over the Randolph Cardinals. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-0.

Lane Heimes produced another solid effort rushing for 124 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Those 124 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Brummer, who threw for 86 yards and three touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Wynot proved: they limited Randolph to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Kason Hans for the heroic effort on defense: he. Wynot didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.7.

When it comes to explaining why Randolph lost, don't look at Milo Rayford. Despite the final result, he picked up 42 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 71 yards.

Wynot's record now sits at 3-1. As for Randolph, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
