Basketball Recap: Pasadena Gets the Win

Splendora came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Pasadena, but Emily De La Garza wouldn't allow it. The Pasadena Eagles slipped by the Splendora Wildcats 46-45 on Tuesday thanks in part to De La Garza, who went 9 of 22 on her way to 22 points along with seven boards and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alazay Olivares, who posted ten points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Splendora, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Pasadena will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Splendora, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Splendora Wildcats challenge the Crosby Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
